First time backcountry skiing? If you’ve never applied a set of skins your skis/splitboard (or snowshoes to feet), please book our intro to backcountry tour.
If you’ve used skins and traveled in the backcountry before let us know – particularly if you are joining a group trip. We will do our best to put you in a group with other backcountry skiers and riders of similar experience levels.
BD has been guiding pro skiers and snowboarders for years in Hokkaido’s vast natural playground of pillows (generally referred to as mushrooms in Japan), drops, steep chutes and backcountry booters but starting this season we will begin offering this same service to all of our guests.
