With an average annual snowfall of 15meters and over 100 ski resorts, its clear why Hokkaido is quickly becoming one of the hottest ski destinations in the world. Fortunately, we've spent years sifting through these resorts and their surrounding backcountry terrain in search of the best lines, hidden zones and deepest snow to become known as Hokkaido's Powder Specialists. If you've only got a limited amount of time on the island, signing up for a Black Diamond Tour is the best way to guarantee yourself the freshest tracks.
We are based out of Black Diamond Lodge in Niseko ski resort – Hokkaido's biggest and most well known resort – but offer tours to all of Hokkaido's best resorts. Choose from our 1 day trips (guided or unguided), multi-resort packages, backcountry tours, snowmobiling and keep an eye out for our powderhunter specials.
If you prefer to explore on your own, we rent 4WD vehicles, backcountry gear, ski/board equipment and offer a wealth of knowledge on where to go and what to do while you're here.
