Getting Here
For the most convenient and comfortable option, we can arrange private airport transfers and door to door service. You will be personally greeted at the airport and from there on all you have to do is relax until you are safely delivered directly to your hotel in Niseko. Rates depend on group size with vehicle seating capacity ranging from up to 5, 9, 14 and 21 passengers. All vehicles are equipped with winter snow tires, 4WD traction control and snow chains. Service also available to Sapporo and Rusutsu. Please visit the Skybus website for more on private transfer schedules and rates.
Direct buses to Niseko depart regularly from Sapporo's international airport. This is the easiest and cheapest way of getting to Niseko. The closest stop to Black Diamond is at the Higashiyama Prince hotel where we will meet you to bring you back to our lodge. Buses are operated by three major companies (Chuo, Donan and Whiteliner). You can check their schedules at the websites listed below or simply email us your flight details and we will make a reservation for you. One way bus fare is 2500Yen. The last bus departs Sapporo Chitose airport at 9:30pm so please arrange arrivals prior to 8:30pm if you plan to catch the bus to Niseko.
If you are planning to travel directly to Niseko from the airport, we don't recommend using the trains as all trains to Niseko travel via Sapporo and generally require at least one transfer. As a result of the route taken, trains take considerably longer to get to Niseko and are also more expensive; however if you are planning on spending a night in Sapporo it is the easiest way of getting into the city and stop announcements are made in English. Reservations are not necessary.

We are also an automotive rental agent and can provide you with a rental vehicle for the duration of your stay. We can arrange to meet you at the aiport with a vehicle but recommend you select one of the above options to get to Niseko first before setting out on the road. You can expect difficult winter driving conditions when you arrive, so its best to get a good night's sleep before tackling the street. Also, from Niseko you have a good starting point to work from and we can help point you in the right direction so you don't get lost – immediately anyway. Please click here for further details
