A day spent at Lake Toya is one of Hokkaido’s best kept secrets. Whether it’s your first time or you are a seasoned expert, the combination of Lake Toya’s national beauty, protected coves and our Tige 21v will be sure to satisfy you. With an average depth of 117m you would expect the water to be ice cold, but that’s hardly the case in July through September when the surface can often be luke warm. Perhaps the extreme clarity of the lake or the abundance of hot springs and volcanic activity around it that keeps it warmer than expected.
Lake Toya is located 45min South of Niseko and is also a part of the Shikotsu-Toya National Park. In addition, you will be able to see views of Mt.Yotei and Mt. Usu, which is an active volcano that erupted in 18 years ago.
All tours begin with your guide picking you up directly from your accommodation in one of our comfortable 4WD drive vehicles between 8 AM and 8.30 AM. You will be contacted the evening before your scheduled trip about an exact pick up time.
