Focussed on the backcountry this trip is for avid backcountry users. As you travel across Hokkaido guests can expect full days in the backcountry following storms, nights sampling local cuisine, and road trips to far flung locations.
The Niseko Guided Ski Trip sets you up with plenty of time to explore Niseko United but, a trip to the powder mecca would not be complete without sampling some of the other legendary resorts and terrain in the area. By the end of your trip you will have experienced at least four of Hokkaido’s top powder destinations.
If the dominating peak of Mount Yotei has been calling your name and you are looking for a challenge this tour is for you. The hike can take between 5 and 8 hours to reach the summit and will truly test your fitness.
BD has been guiding pro skiers and snowboarders for years in Hokkaido’s vast natural playground of pillows (generally referred to as mushrooms in Japan), drops, steep chutes and backcountry booters but starting this season we will begin offering this same service to all of our guests. After all, why should the pros have all the fun?
If you’ve used skins and traveled in the backcountry before let us know – particularly if you are joining a group trip. We will do our best to put you in a group with other backcountry skiers and riders of similar experience levels.
