Price for Private Group (up to 5 people): ¥120,000 + one time cat ride fee of ¥3,000 per person + 10% tax

Do you want to get a head start on a backcountry touring day? If so, the cat assisted touring at Chisenupuri is for you! The cat will depart at 8:45 from the base of Chisenupuri (550m elevation) and head up to where the old lifts were located at 832m. After you get to the top of the lifts, you will be able to hike and drop the Chisenupuri peak and head over to Nitonpuri etc for more laps.
The average snowfall in this area adds up to 15m at base, and is one of the snowiest areas in Hokkaido!

Tour Details

All tours begin with your guide picking you up directly from your accommodation in one of our comfortable 4WD drive vehicles at 8 AM. You will be contacted the evening before your scheduled trip about an exact pick up time. Depending on your equipment we will get the required rental gear for you or head straight to the trailhead. With our guides leading the way you can expect to find the best skin tracks and powder stashes. At the end of your successful powder day your guide will take you back to your accommodation.

  • Includes: guide, transportation, and necessary avalanche safety kit, and one time cat ride.
  • Touring gear required but not included in trip price. If you require rental touring gear, please contact our sister company Basecamp Niseko.
  • Avalanche safety equipment (beacon, shovel, probe, and appropriate backpack) are required. If you do not have your own please let us know when booking so we can provide equipment as necessary.
